Went to buy some White’s Auto Fishers today and all they had were those crappy H&H brand loose spring having fish losing piece of shits. I politely declined and plan to go find some White’s tomorrow. But it got me thinking, is there another brand comparable to White’s? Is there even another brand of YoYo? All I’ve ever seen were White’s and those queer arse strip out on a 4lb channel cat H&H’s.

Yeah, we had the same White's on our pier for probably 4 or so years. H&H's are worse quality, but at half the price of the White's and easily found they're decent enough for most people.

No doubt. I tell everybody if it doesn't have white string keep on walking.

White's is the only one I'll ever buy. That's the best trigger system IMO. Fewer trips or empty hooks when running your set.

Haven't seen Whites in stores for years. Maybe I just haven't looked hard enough, but I still have my dad's old yo-yo's probably from the 1960's.

ETA. I have some of these too and I like the trigger on them. I think the quality is right up there with Whites.

I use White’s. They are the best! I buy the at Champlins net company in Jonesville.
I’m pretty sure they will ship.

IDK. All of ours are a conglomeration of devices collected over the years .
They all work. The trick is to put them in the place with the highest fish factor.
