It’s really good. My wife and I both enjoyed it.

Exactly same here for us, but we did Sling day pass for first week and then DirecTV stream free trial last week.

That was an excellent strategy! You beat the man!
I stuck with YouTube TV thru this BS. Sling TV offers a one day pass to ESPN for $4.99. I did this twice and watched all of the football I wanted to.
I’ve read that ESPN is suing Sling for offering this. What scumbags!
Also claimed my $20 Credit from YouTube TV! Screw Disney/ESPN/ABC!
I hope they got the short end of the deal on this one! I found good information on a YouTube channel called Michael Saves. He used to work for Clark Howard.

You can download the SLING App and rent ESPN Networks and SEC Network for $5.99 for 24 hours. Disney/ESPN/ABC is trying to sue Sling TV for doing this. You tube TV is offering $20 discount also. You go to a computer browser to claim it. I'm ahead with this money wise!
Screw Disney/ESPN/ABC!! YouTube TV seems to be on my side of this and I'm gonna stay with them.
There is some great information on "Michael Saves" Channel on YouTube.

Roger-Rodger, What's our Vector-Victor, do we have Clearance-Clarence?

This line tickles me to death every time I hear it!
Update. My local service guy came out to take a look. He wiggled some of the ribbon cables and wire connections around and the dang thing started working! He’s not sure where the problem was. Will see how long this lasts. Our machine was assembled in Mexico.
Speed Queen will be our next machine. Thanks for all the info!

i think there were some issues in the late teens so they reverted back to the previous design. i bought in 2020 and it was right after that.

That's good info. Thanks!!

re: Excessive Power Outages

Entergy doesn't trim trees as aggressively as they have in the past. I think they have found that it's cheaper to just let a tree fall on the lines, then pull the wires out and re-connect. Then just leave the tree for someone else to clean up. The outage that this causes is just collateral damage.
I believe I do, but crap changes all the time.

Washing Machine Recommendations

I's really frustrated with our Maytag 5.2 cubic foot top load washer.
Got an error code F2E2 which indicated a loss of communication between the controls and the main control board. Most common failure is the main control board. The part is about $225 with the core exchange of $60.
The electronics were only warranted for 1 year! The motor and transmission for 10 years. This machine is 13 months old! After researching a little, it is very common for this part to fail just after a year. There are probably enough people to organize a class action lawsuit like the LG washers had. Shame on Whirlpool/Maytag!!! They know exactly what they are doing and it is scandalous! May get it fixed but we are looking at SpeedQueen.
Any recommendations and experience is greatly appreciated.
Man I love the Blue’s!! I have seen them at least once a year for the past 30 years when possible. I swell with pride at every viewing!!
Thanks for sharing your experience. I try to take care of my stuff but it’s amazing how many things around the house have batteries and can be overlooked.
Thanks!

I used to use Duracells, exclusively but some years ago started having leaking issues frequently.Mostly use Eveready now.

Thanks! Glad I’m not the only one that has experienced this.
What I expect? is that a major manufacturer of batteries to provide an adequate casing to contain the caustic chemicals for a reasonable amount of time!
Thanks! That’s good advice and is appreciated! I’m an old guy and have left a lot of brands of batteries in things over the years but I have never seen the kind of leakage that comes out of a Duracell battery. I’ve been on a mission to remove batteries out of everything I’m not using. Found a couple of remotes with in date Duracells that had leaked! Apparently it’s an issue. There is much info on search engines about it.
It does. Way too long I know. Other brands of batteries that I have experienced does not cause this much damage. Duracell claims that they engineer their batteries to do this to prevent explosions. I’ve never had a battery that didn’t leak to explode.

I’ve Had It With Duracell Batteries

LINK Devices Destroyed
I know you’re not supposed to leave batteries in anything for an extended period of time. But other brands of batteries don’t explode, leak, and ruin devices like these do! Duracell owes me a walkie talkie, a lantern, and a flashlight that I didn’t show! I will never buy another Duracell again. Have switched to Amazon Basic Batteries and Ever Ready Energizer that doesn’t seem do this. Anybody else have this same experience??
Thanks, That's good info.

Not really sure and hard to get information about charging these EcoFlow units while utilizing their power. Thanks for the comments.

re: Blink vs Ring Cameras

I have several ring cameras and a doorbell. Very happy with them. Wish they could record 24/7 but you can set them to record a snapshot every 30 seconds.
Motion sensitivity and motion detection zone adjustment all work good.
Hope this helps.

Clean up Dirty Generator Power

Will plugging in sensitive electronics to a battery backup such as an EcoFlow while charging the EcoFlow with a standard portable generator give you clean power for your electronics? Just curious. I’m not by any means an expert on this!
YES! Start a YouTube channel! you would get thousands of views and make money from it! Would love to see these restorations!
