I dont have one I am just wondering. Just seems too long of a weapon right?
It would be different if you were only using it while plopping down on sand bags during target practice or you were up in a treestand.
But if you want to maximize the assault capabilities of the weapon which might include breaching doorways then that's too long for the job.
SBR with ThunderChicken and then you are cooking,

SeaPickle, I like your setup a lot.
What kind of scope is on your 5.56?

I use mine for hogs and coyotes shooting off a tripod in crop fields. It’s not a tactical type gun. A 6-10” barrel would be what you’d want
I run a pulsar thermion 2 XL50LRF. That actually scope is the XP50LRF. They are the same style different specs.

Let's say that I bought a suppressor as an individual. How much of a hassle to transfer it into my trust later?
it's actually another PAPER form 4. you'll have to mail physical documents, fingerprints, photo, etc.
the eForms site isn't set up for this, yet.

Whelp,
I ran by the local store with the silencer shop kiosk and they had two of the spectercat WB TI.
I was not strong willed. My conviction broke.
It’s just so stupid light and very low to no gas blow back.

Just got one approval in. Put the order in last month on the 6th. Took silencer shop 27 days to do their side and the ATF 3 days. Individual.

Huxwrx flow
I was back and forth yesterday between the Flow 7.62 and a Trash Panda. What ended up selling the Trash Panda was it included the muzzle devices which would cover my 2 rifles. The Flow didn't even come with a direct mount. So, already ~$400 more, plus I'd be spending a few hundred more on a QD system for my rifles. If they'd have had the Huxwrx Ventum , I'd have bought it most likely since its sub $1k and comes with a direct thread adapter.

This is probably a stupid question but does backordering a thunder chicken simultaneously capture some of the NFA approval wait time or does the wait time start after they are in hand.

I think they need the serial number, so probably starts when in hand.

I'm looking at a few options for an ultralight, short silencer for hunting. I'll use it on a 300 WM and 6.5 CM
I don't need the best suppression rating, just enough that it doesn't hurt my ears shooting the gun
There are so many options to choose from now:
CAT ODB Ti
Scythe-Ti
Banish Backcountry
TBAC Ultra 5
Rugged Alaskan 360 Ti
just to name a few. All of these come in under 7" and under 8 oz. (not including mount)
I'll probably just end up going with whatever I can find in stock when I'm ready to buy one

The Cat WB is only for .22 cal. FYI.
I think you're looking for the Cat ODB

I didn't even catch that. I clearly don't know shite about them and the amount of information out there is staggering.

Not to hijack the thread, but wanted some recs on what to get.
I would love to get one or two cans that I can switch and put on multiple guns. I know nothing about them
Guns I'm interested suppressing
M&P 15-22 rifle
Walther P22
PSA 308
556 AR
I was thinking of 2 cans, one just for 22s and one for 556/223 and 308.

That's what everyone thinks until they have one silencer.

Then they get it and all of a sudden they own 5 more.
I have 2 rimfire silencers. Q El Camino and a Surefire Ryder.
I'd take the Q any day over the Surefire.
Whatever you do, absolutely do not buy one with aluminum baffles.
There are a bunch of guys one here that have a Q Thunder Chicken or Trash Panda that they use on .30 and under. I have a Thunder Chicken.
I just bought a dedicated 5.56 AR silencer for my thermal set up. It's the Cat white bread. At a little over 6 ounces I was looking to save weight as my set up is really heavy especially with the Dead Air Sandman hanging off it. The WB will be a 1/3rd the weight of the sandman or more.

I certified my enticer and wolf hunter last Thursday.
Did you did you do individual or trust?

I just certified for a trust and the shop told me trusts are still seeing a long wait and that I should expect 6-10 months. But that this current wave of fast approvals could close up on individuals and then they focus on trusts. Just no way to know. I also have a Form 1 submitted the same day for the same trust and they said that should be done in a month.

My SC White Bread is now in the system. Hoping to have a very quick turn around.
I did individual on mine. I may do a trust on it before long but for now, not worried about it.
