Considering adding a striker fired 9mm to the collection and Im looking at the SIG P320. I own two other Sigs and the 320 has fantastic reviews.

I don't shoot Glocks well (which I know can be fixed with practice, so I dont want to start that fight) and I know the OB loves the PPQ and VP9. But I'd like to hear opinions on the P320 from those who own or have shot them.

Thanks.

Knew it was coming. Thanks for getting it out of the way early.

tried a buddy's at the range recently. His did not have a great trigger making accuracy problematic

I'm a Sig guy, but this scared me away from the predecessor - the P250. I'm staying away from plastic guns. Not knocking them, but they're not for me.

Weird. This contradicts most of what I've read online. The trigger was the selling point for me, everyone says it's great.

Thanks.

I own this exact gun and have put about 500 rounds through it. It is by far the smoothest shooting and accurate handgun that I own. Fits in my hand perfect, very reliable, (still no jams) and I love the look.

With that being said, I would highly recommend this gun to any one. In my opinion you can not go wrong with the SIG.

The trigger on mine is pretty sweet.

I have one and it's my favorite handgun I own. Personally I love the trigger and I shoot it better than all my other handguns.

ETA: added bonus is that it's a ridiculously easy gun to break down and clean.

I've never fired a P320 but this surprises me. I've felt a few in gun stores and have found it has a pretty good factory trigger.

I have one and I really do enjoy shooting the gun. Not going to say it's my favorite, but it's up there. I do have a lot of pistols. My favorites are my 1911s. The P320, P226s, or the USP would likely be the next ones up. No particular order.

As to the trigger comment, the trigger on the 320 is probably the 2nd best striker fired trigger in the market. Second only to the VP9/VP40.

I did put an apex flat-face trigger on mine. Helps you to engage the trigger lower. Love it.

So 3.5 votes for a good trigger. 1 for bad.

.40 doesn't really accomplish anything that a 9mm won't do now.

This. With good ammo they are pretty much the same thing, 9mm just holds more ammo and has less recoil.
