I assume that’s what this is as it was hanging out with the greenhead. From reading online, it sounds like it’s more likely crossbreeding and not albinism. Just curious if this is common as I personally have never seen this before

Got caught taking pictures:

All he cares about is that it's pink in the middle, amiright?

Yea, it isn’t common. I saw a teal like that when the freeze came. A buddy took a picture and put it on social media. Some might have seen it if y’all follow his stuff.

So you are assuming it’s gender?

That’s a big no no and you should be cancelled

The story I've told before of me and Grandad catching the entire hatch of ducklings just over the fence of the neighbors pasture when momma duck started to take them to the pond ... those were a crossbreed of mallard and some pet duck like you see at a neighborhood pond or public park. 3 or 4 of them grew up mostly white to all white, and they all had some white splotch or 2 where a purebred would not.

They all tasted just like duck over the next couple years that I know for a fact.

Domesticated duck. They are commonly white.

A mallard drake will hang out with most anything with webbed feet and feathers.

Is that a spot you normally see wild ducks?

I think those are Rouen ducks, not mallards. They’re a domesticated species and far more likely to have cross breeds/inbreeding.

Male or female, it's white, it will get cancelled.
