Western North Carolina. I don’t think whatever it is is going to make it through the night.

Yeah he’s been under a lamp for a while. Starting to come around some.

They sell packages of electrolytes to mix in to chicks’ water. Pretty much Gatorade for chickens. If it’s alive in the morning, it might be worth a shot to pick some up at your local Tractor Supply

Appears to be a turkey poult. Raise it up and you’ll have a semi live decoy. LOL

I am no expert but I highly doubt this. It would be akin to a giraffe being born with no legs but growing them later.

Turkey poults no doubt. Hope green jeans isn't watching this, get rid of them before he does.

They definitely are. Motherfrickers have infiltrated the OB.

He did. He’s behaving more like a chick today. I don’t usually shop at Tractor Supply, but I’m going to head up there this afternoon for turkey specific items.

check out this video on raising turkey poults might give you some good ideas

x 100 - water is critical in the hotter Summer months

you will probably have to teach him to drink / eat ... dip the poults beak in the water / food so he can learn what it is

I’m a little concerned he’s not really eating or drinking. I dipped his beak and tried to show him food last night, but he still doesn’t seem that interested. Hopefully that’s not a bad sign and he’ll figure it out.
