Looks like duckling to me, but normally their beaks are black.

And round. And they have webbed feet.

That's a chicken, Baw.

My son found him on the edge of a creek out in the middle of a field behind our house. My initial thought was chicken because of the lack of webbed feet, but I read that freshly hatched ducks don’t have webbed feet and they become webbed as they grow

No clue how a chicken would end up where my son found it.

My wild, almost assuredly incorrect guess is a quail just due to the stripe on the head. Hard to tell from that angle.

Color is close, but the beaks don’t match.

Looks like the OB has a new mascot. OP has to raise it to find out exactly what it is.

My money is on a chicken. That or T-Rex...

I have 12 one week old chicks I’m raising now. Good bet for this being a chicken, but it looks slightly different than they do.

Quail maybe?

Even baby ducks have flat bills. That has a beak. I have no idea what it is but I know it's not a duck.

I’m leaning towards turkey now. We’ll find out in a few weeks.
