If y'all keep using up all the wood for those turkey toys then there won't be any trees left for me to shoot turkeys out of.

That's an awesome and impressive collection! Which one do you regularly hunt with? As for turkey calls, I never graduated beyond a styrofoam coffee cup and a 7018 welding rod...

I've used several of those displayed calls at one time or another. My go-to calls are a box caller made by a friend in PA and a couple of slate callers made by a fellow in TN. Nearly 100% of my birds over the past 3 or so years have been to an osage slate...

Great collection!

I have a Lynch world champion that was made in Birmingham that belonged to my granddaddy. I am guessing it was made in the 40's.

Nice collection. I'm almost as bad with antique duck decoys and old duck calls. That Lynch box was my first call my grandfather gave me when I was in 6th grade.

I've got a few of them. I'd argue that Albert Paul makes best custom box call for your dollar and he's one hell of a nice guy too. Nothing too fanciful but darn good sounding and he's very consistent. I'm convinced that just about any woodworker can make a box call and if you allow them to pick one caller out of a lot of 100 they made they'll find one thats a real screamer. The other 99 being average, so-so or not worth a shite. Albert manages to make a bunch of calls each year and I've never stumbled across a bad one.
