Guy that I work with said his house up around Rogers, AR got hit pretty good. Messed up his shop, house, and his wife's new car. She was OK though.

shite ton of rain here in Farmerville. Friend of mine texted me and said she heard a tornado touched down here, but I can't find anyone who can confirm that.

Had some customers that had really bad damage over there. I am in Bossier/Sleesport area and we got a lot of rain and wind but thankfully no tornadoes. I heard W. Monroe got tore up pretty good though.

From KATC website:
Geauxt, can you confirm this?

. A tornado reportedly touched down near Bawcomville in Ouachita Parish, but neither meteorologists nor Ouachita Parish Homeland Security Director Archie Neal Brown could confirm that report.

the news is sticking with massive straight line winds,,, BUT, here's what I CAN confirm. the huge trees out here in the Wild West were not "pushed over", they were "twisted off" and some really big ones were lodged higher up in other trees.
now, it's obvious to yall that I don't have multiple masters degrees, but I do have a tablespoon of "out behind the barn" common sense and can tell the difference between blown over and twisted and lifted.
it was pretty bad in certain areas on both sides of the river, but not consistent all the way across. lots of tree damage, roofs gone, signs twisted and blown, etc.
