Aggressive all terrain for 3/4 ton?

toyo at2's are as good as it gets. Coopers aren't shabby for the money... cooper st maxx or whatever.

Maybe a bit more aggressive that what you're looking for I've been extremely pleased with my Toyo Open County MTs thus far. This is 35's on a F250. Currently at 32,000 miles on them and will probably go another 5-8000 miles before I get new ones. I'll be replacing them with the same tire. Had them rotated/balanced once and could probably stand to have it done again, no excessive vibrations, road noise is decent. Heck I used to barely get 40k miles out of street tires on my F350.

I had two sets of Mickey Thompson ATZs on my F250 that were about as aggressive of an all terrain as you can buy. They changed the pattern, so idk about the new stuff, but I have always had good luck with their tires. They are considered high quality in my book. Have BFG ATs on my new truck, and on my first truck, and while they work very well, they don't do as good in the mud as the Mickey Thompson tires. On-road manners are a little better on the BFGs, but that is the trade-off of having a less aggressive all terrain. The wet weather siping is better on the bfgs, but there isn't a noticeable difference unless you know what you're talking about. I believe BFG also recently modified their tread pattern.



Eta: I have driven on many, many tires both on the road and in the mud, and the Mickey Thompsons and BFGs are two of the best all terrains. The other brands cake up pretty well if that's what you're looking for

Also, don't let the actual load letter ratings fool you because every manufacturer has a different standard. Look at the weight ratings. I used to pull some illegally heavy things with my F250, and never had a problem.

Toyo AT IIs now come stock on F250s. They are getting much cheaper in stock size (275/65/20). I plan on getting them or 275/65/20 Duratracs for my next set of tires. The Duratracs are a hair over $300 each.

Toyo just came out with a new aggressive all terrain, its called a R/T between the AT II and MT. They are proud of them but I just sold a set to a guy and they are pretty sweet! I have Fierce Attitudes on my truck now but will be putting the R/T's on when I need a new set

I've always ran mud tires when ATs would do. Just wanting to save cash since I just spent a bunch

The R/Ts are also heavy as shite compared to the AT IIs.
