What kind of setup you gonna run with the RMR? I've been thinking about getting a G19 MOS.

S&W released a Performance Center M&P9 that is optics ready and ships with a ported barrel and a threaded barrel. Mine has a TLR1-HL and an Apex Flat Forward Set Sear kit (4.5lb) with Reset Assist Mechanism (Thanks, Bapple). All I need is the RMR, which should be shipping soon.

If you already have a 19, just grab a Unity Tactical ATOM slide. LINK DLC/PVD coated, BUIS, and the only slide that allows you to run an Aimpoint Micro (not counting those shitty mounts that everyone seems to be coming out with). We're a Unity dealer, dont carry the ATOM. Grab one from Chris at Interstate or off the website.

Here's one with the T1 on it. It is slick and super fun to shoot

I actually have the ATOM on my Gen3 17. I like it so much that I want another one. I wanted to get the MOS just to have something a little different than the ATOM. That S&W looks awesome. I may have to check it out.

Mine didn't come with the fancy pen though.

I guess your obvious big difference is the positioning of the iron sights.

Is there any advantage or disadvantage to having the aperture behind the optic? I think it offers a longer sight radius than the aperture being in front. But I can't think of any other big advantages besides that.

Yeah I guess the differences are negligible. Now I'm leaning towards the S&W. I guess I really just want another reflex optic pistol.

I can't see where it comes with a threaded barrel as well as a ported barrel. The price that I saw ($750.00) seems like a really good deal for what you get.

Holy crap, Just looked at the calendar. Is there really alot of people willing to pay $100-$500 for 1 day courses.

I need to look into that. I could put together some courses to offer.

Wait, I see Green Ops Instructor Bios now.

I could put a group like that together here in Louisiana.

Interesting.

Love my Alex stuff. Have dcaek, aluminum trigger, RAM, striker block kit and whatever else in my edc 9c. I shoot that gun more than any other pistol.

Typically those $500 are 2/3 day classes. Click on the actuall course to see the dates.

.....never mind looks like you did

True but that still isn't bad.

I looked at the course descriptions and know a lot of Firearm Instructors and SWAT operators that could put on some really good courses for that, but no way their agencies would allow them right now.

Might be something to look at for the future.

I would worry that a student(s) could turn around and be the next mass murderer(s) though.
