Agreed. I pulled the gun out of my dad's closet for her to test out without realizing the scope on it sucks. All the guns at my house wouldn't do that so maybe she can blame my dad

Send her out with the AR. Get some ammo that has a 77tmk bullet in it and shoot some deer and let me know how it goes, since its becoming aparent I wont be able to do my own experimenting

I have some 69gr Sierra match king that I have used predator hunting with a .223 AR.
16" barrel is pushing them a little over 2600fps. On a coyote they were devastating. Orange sized hole on the exit at 160 yds.
Sure they would do the same on a deer.

Suppressed will solve alot of problems, especially for a new shooter/hunter.

I have 73 eldm and 77 tmk to try this year.
