Academy wader return question

I bought a pair of Game Winner waders at Academy about a year and a half ago, knee seam leak developed in January so they are useless now.
I still have the box and receipt. Are there any tricks that I need to know before I go return these, or is it as easy as walking in and walking out with a new pair?

I think it's up to the discretion of the manager. And right now they probably don't have any more waders left tbh. Might be better off waiting till next fall.

don't leave without your money back.

If you have the box and receipt you are golden. They will just give you a gift card for the amount of purchase.

I returned a pair of the Magellan Mag2 waders after getting popped by a stingray in the ankle. They were only a few months old and just said they were leaking. They didn't even ask why and just told me to go grab another pair. Great waders BTW.

Just bring it in. I did this last year. No issues.

They'll exchange a product that was bought a year and a half ago?

Buy a new pair online, send the old ones back in the box the new ones come in with the new receipt.

Unless you get a "new" box someone already did that too.

That's a chance I'd be willing to take.
