Worse than Wally world. Anyone have any idea when the back to school rush will end so I can go get the right stuff for the right price?

People should have their school uniforms, new shoes, and backpacks by the end of this weekend. It should die down and the hunting stuff should start rolling out.

Was looking for hunting stuff in there last night. I did find me a max4 short sleeve shirt for $3 that s going to be made into my cut off for teal season. When they put the good shite out?

Shouldn't be too bad on a Thursday. Fridays around and after lunch are always packed.
Most schools already started, so it shouldn't be as bad as earlier in the week with all the women.

I experienced the referenced circus earlier this week. As I was hunting around for some teal shells, picking through all the dove shells out, some deomcrats were carefully checking out the variety of handgun ammo on the shelves, discussing the stopping power, etc. Coincidental? doubtful

Hated...HATED working at Academy during this time. Democrats would get bussed in it seemed.

not sure about academy but sports authority in elmwood is going out of business and all fishing stuff is 50% off. they had a whole shelf of gulp baits for $10, hooks, lures etc. Only poles I saw were 30 foot or so ugly sticks. Biggest fishing poles ive ever seen.

I would guess everything if they are going out of business. I checked their site and nothing was said about it going out of business.
