Guys showed up and were getting fuel for their trip back to Bay St. Louis.

How long you figure it would take this to go from Fourchon all the way around Plaquemines parish and to Bay St. Louis?

Dont know if they were pulling my leg or not but one guy said the boat does 83mph

No doubt on that speed. Those boats are the tits. Had the pleasure of riding in one with Mexican Gulf Fishing Co. If I could convince the wife to sell the house I'd live in a double wide and buy one.

i know the intercoastal canal can make it a straight line short cut ride through most of our coastal land area but thats still a long ride

What's the most fuel efficient speed on a rig like that?

Up Red Pass and out Baptiste Collette or through Empire locks and out Ostrica. I would guess 3 hours max.

you think a boat that goes as fast as it does would sit around and wait for locks or just go around?

if you have the money to buy one of those, you can have a huk wrap.

That is too be to be all white.... looks like an ungly white whale sitting here.

BTW, JJ gets paid to have that huk wrap on there.

I bet that Capt. Corey Talbot's. We went with him on an overnighter last summer and are going back again on the 28th. I think his is a 33' but it hauls arse and was comfortable to fit six of us plus him and deck hands. It has lights on the bottom and we were watching pods of tuna swim under the boat at night.

The 15 yft, 18 bft, 12 red snapper and 60 mangroves somehow all managed to fit in the ice chest. I am so pumped to do it again. Reel Addiction Charters if anyone is looking for a trip like that
