If you are showing the GFS model that is more than 10 days out which is unlikely to verify. I would only start to believe weather models showing snow, especially in an area where it is abnormal, about three days out.

These same people correctly forecasted the 2"- 4" that fell on Shreveport on January 11th, ten days out.

I guarantee you that they just picked a weather model, either Euro or GFS, and got lucky that it verified.

I ordered my snow shovel thru Amazon this morning. Paid extra for overnight shipping so I can practice with it.

I was considering bringing the kids somewhere north over mardi gras to see some snow.

Yeah, 2 days ago the forecast was showing a low of 30 for Sunday. Now it says low of 52. I’ll make plans when we are a few days from Valentine’s Day.
