In…

Will there be a TD booth setup with some koozies? I bet none of the other vendors have koozies made from the same stuff as Navy SEAL wetsuits

I’ll probably do something stupid like buy a boat if I go. But I’ll probably go anyway.

I always check my bank account before going to this show. Not that it matters.

I went to the Houston Fishing Show two weeks ago. 3 ounce, $300 plus custom rods might as well be black tar heroin. I cant help myself.

Anyone going/went to the show today? How was it? Thinking of heading there tomorrow with wife and 2 boys.

Honestly, don’t waste the 15.00 price per person + 10.00 parking
Wait for show at Lamar Dixon in 2 weeks
We walked the main section in about 15 minutes, spent a little more time to be a very threatening looking at boats
It’s nothing like years past, if I had to guess I’d say 30% of vendors are seasonings, spices, dips…
Unless you are going for something specific I’d wait for the upcoming show which looks like a lot more vendors

Any bass boats there?

Kids are fired up to go so we’ll make a day out of it. Will probably go to the one at Lamar also.

Just a few bass boats
Kids will enjoy the LSU / SELU fishing team
Think the BR hockey team will be there tomorrow

It wasn’t terrible, we wouldn’t have gone had we known bigger show at Lamar Dixon was happening

Yeah this was a dud. I like going and buying local vendors at these shows, but they had barely any local bait vendors. Pretty disappointing for what this show used to be.

Bought from 2 local guys, we enjoy looking at all the local stuff you don’t see in stores
I’m glad someone else posted, I wasn’t trying to shite on the show by any means, it’s just nothing like it used to be

We are still here, but overall, much lower turnout this year. Having it at the Riverfront really hurt us.

It DOES NOT need to be in the River Center again. Awful food and everything was too segregated.

There are way more vendors than people.

Very underwhelming. Especially the fishing section. Only 3 or 4 tackle vendors and I think Salter’s was the only booth that sold rods. There were more spice and seasoning booths than fishing gear. $10 parking and $15 admission wasn’t worth it IMO

I don’t see how those people make a profit after paying booth fees
