Thinking about picking up this beauty. Anyone ever shot one? Any downside besides the 9-12 month wait for 2 form 4s? 2700 is a damn good price if it is built as legit as they talk it up to be.

I was thinking about the DD version that pinned the suppressor, making it 16" and requiring only one stamp.

I would much rather a DD or AAC SBR and either an AAC or Integral Arms can.

Link? Would it be any faster with only one stamp?

Link to specific one?
I really appreciate the input. Don't want buyers remorse on this buy.

That's a nasty 300. If you can afford it then pick it up.

Nope.

Buy a lower. Get it registered as a pistol. Get it engraved with your trust info. Send off the paperwork to the ATF. Buy an upper of your choosing. Put upper on lower that you completed with a DD LPK. Buy a pistol buffer and tube. Enjoy your pistol 300BLK until your stamp arrives in 12 months.

I would use a DD or AAC upper. I would use a MEGA lower. I would use a DD LPK. I would use a Magpul stock, once approved.

I have an AAC can on the way. I will be getting a few Integral Arms cans in the future. They are local and the owner is an old friend. Can be found online and many local Facebook groups.

I built basically a clone, but with what I feel is equal and probably even better parts, for significantly less minus the can. But even with a can Id be under 2700.

How is the QD can working out being underneath the handguard?

I haven't put in for my can yet, that's just a muzzle device from alberta tactical I have on their atm. I don't foresee it being a problem though, the spacing between those ribs on the rail are fairly large. Feel like I could easily stick something in there to remove it but I guess we'll see.

if you're impatient waiting on the SBR stamp, pick up a sig brace with the dedicated KAK SB tube (has a longer length for better 'shouldering') now that BATF has said it's legal to us the SB not necessarily as a brace (i.e. shoulder it) since it doesn't change the functionality.

it's about $200 and you can easily sell it on ebay once you get your stamp in for the SBR.

i sure wish i'd never been shown this awesomeness. it's stuck with me since last night and i've shown a couple friends. i look at salient stuff all the time.. there's something about that gun that i think i need or else i'm going to wither and die. then again, if i buy it... she'll shoot me for being dumb anyway.

Yeah. Now that I look at it again, your barrel would have to be roughly 3-4" if that was the can underneath.

I've got a few handguards like that (Spikes and Seekins). You're probably right in being able to hit the QD through the rail.

So what's the hold up with the can?? Still deciding? Funding?

Funding. Some shite came up but hopefully by July I'll have enough set aside for it.

Well, it's going to be fun as hell to shoot.

I'm almost done with mine.
