2025 Whitetail Buck is ready!

Dude at Salt Grass taxidermy in Riviera did a great job and already has it ready for me to pickup.
That’s one of the faster turnaround’s I have had. Shot in November and ready in May. My 2025 axis took right at 1 year April to April. Had a pretty good last 16 to 18 months with a good Nilgai bull, this whitetail and a monster axis.

Beautiful set of horns, but the mount could have used more body IMO. Something just looks off there if I’m being honest

Rize guestimated this deer at 160lbs. So Tex buck range from 140 - 200lbs on his place.
First buck he killed in 2 years as he manages the place and lets them walk until 6-7+ yrs old. This deer gained 20" in 1 year
