I can't understand why they wouldn't have an option for the 6.2 in the Trailboss model! Makes no sense to me.

Compared to other prices I do not think the LTZ price is too bad.

Inflation

A $20,000 truck in 2000 would cost about $30,000 today per the inflation calculator.

Can’t wait to see how that Diesel engine performs. I need 2-3 more years out my truck.

As much as I would like a new one I'm going to drive my 2013 until the wheels fall off. Best truck I've ever owned.

100%

This isn't some earth shattering revelation, but its pretty interesting to look at family income vs. the price of goods over time.

A 2wd Surburban cost $35,530 in 1999. That is around $54,000 today.

MSRP for a 2018 2wd Surburban? $55,000

I paid 28k for a screw full size truck in 2008. I traded it in last Oct for a similarly equipped truck for 32k. And I got 10k on my trade in so it cost roughly 18k for 9 years.

The domestic manufacturers severely inflate the MSRP but hopefully nobody is paying that. I think the sticker on the one I just bought was 42-43k

Just noted that. It should be the same 10 speed as Ford's since it was a JV. It would seem that the 5.3 would benefit from it more than the 6.2.

The F150 5.0 Coyote and 10 speed really moves.

Sorry for the accidental down vote.
