If you are counting on the $3750 buyers discount then probably worth going to Howard Bentley for this truck. Same truck for $2800 less.
Link
I’m not real sure you can use that GM buyers discount with either of those trucks.

I doubt that you’ll get GM Supplier price AND an additional $12,000 off...

Not sure where you live but Everett GMC in Little Rock and Laura GMC in St. Louis have those SLT’s listed around $40k. Both pure volume dealers but worth the drive if you can save 4K. Easiest car buying experience I’ve ever had. Hell, I bought a $300 1 way plane ticket to Little Rock in 2016 to buy my 2500 and saved 6k. Got on a plane at 6am, spent 2hrs at the dealership, and was home by 7pm.

Yea, I’m going to need a link to believe they have a 2019 premium plus with a 6.2 for $40000.

You're right, the 6.2's are 44-47k.

Dad just bought one. Financed 46K$ put 3k down. 6 months ago I bought a 2018 Slt premium package. 58k$ truck after trade in I financed 32$ they also gave me 10k$ off because of the 2019 was in. I went with the 2018 because I don’t like the body style on the 2019. I absolutely love the truck fully loaded. One thing I could say about the 2019 I like the a/c vents in the back are on the back console not under the seats like the 2018.

My last 3 GMCs come from Laura Buick. No one here in Florida can get anywhere close to their prices. It’s worth the trip. In and out less than 2 hours and on the Canyon I bought last week saved 5k from the best deal I could get here.

Hard to believe a 58K truck and they can't even put in rear ac vents. I mean my 2000 GMC even had them in a 3 door extended cab.

This was my only complaint about my 2018. Absolutely happy otherwise

It does stack with other deals.
It gives you special pricing below MSRP on eligible, new Chevrolet, Buick, GMC and Cadillac vehicles. Combine your discount with most current offers to save even more.

Remember to finance it for 96 months so you can afford the note on a boat to pull with the truck
Posted on 6/20/19 at 12:41 pm to deltaland
they are running 0% for 72 months right now as well.
Already have a paid for boat.

1/2 ton trucks are way over priced. case and point is new body style already has a $12k discount that can be used with any other dealer or employer discount. Pulling 15k to 18K off of a $60K msrp. roughly 20% to 28% in some cases. Build price for GM to put one on a trailer to your dealer is still under $15K on base packages and under $17K on deluxe models. go to the biggest city you can within 3 hours of your house and shop those inventories for best price simply because of volume selling they can offer more incentives and cuts. $61K MSRP should be able to bust in $38K to $42K

sierra 2019s have rear climate.

When is this madness going to end? 45,000 should be the MSRP on that vehicle. That vehicle should be possible to get for 30 to 35.

Dont get the leather, bucket seats, sunroof, 4 wheel drive, 400+hp engine, Touchscreen, etc. and you will be at $30K

I’ll say they knocked the styling out of the park on this update.
First one I saw was a work truck and I didn’t like it, but they’ve really grown on me since.
Saw a couple of nicer ones (one was a “Trail Boss”) the other day, and they’re some of the best looking trucks ever.

I'm about 95% sure they won't let you use the buyer's discount since they've marked it down so much. They're close to employee pricing at that price. You're best bet, if you're adamant on getting that truck there, is to shoot for $48k and be willing to meet them in the middle, so around $48,700. Get them to throw in 4-6 free oil changes and/or some other accessories you want if they are willing to accept your deal immediately. If you have a trade, be aggressive on what you want for it after a sale price is agreed upon.
If you're only looking for a 6.2 and the max towing package, here's one in Slidell:
$45,970 when financed through GM
I'd offer them $44,450 for it and be happy with anything around $45k. Get them to throw in a bedliner or the all-weather floor liner for free on this one if they are being stubborn on the price. (I noticed it didn't have either one). Legacy called me today asking if I was looking for a truck, so I know they're trying to make some deals.
