If you made that offer the worst thing that would happen is they say no. Is this a 1st year production? If so don’t buy it; wait until year 2.

I asked several dealers last month about stacking, and they won’t do it. The “$12k off sticker” already includes a dealer discount to near employee pricing. The GM Discounts are only $4-5k of that $12k. So you can stack those, but the price won’t be much better. And of course 0%@72 also can’t be stacked with the GM Rebates.
I got an email from GM saying my supplier pricing was upgraded to employee pricing this month. But I still don’t think it’ll get the price any lower.

I hear ya, the site does say it stacks with other discounts though maybe not all discounts.
I would rather stay with a local dealer for their perks, my current GMC I have free lifetime oil changes, loaners if needed, increased warranty etc.

Just to be clear the OP is looking at the SLT with max towing and the SLT premium package. The Premium package is an extra 6K. While I'm sure you could get a SLT with a 6.2 for 46ish. I don't think you gonna get it with the premium package. Its hard press to get an 18 for less than 44 with those options.

45,000 should be the MSRP on that vehicle.
Go compare Toyota to the domestics. Toyota's top trim probably maxes out at 55K, but Ford and GM is almost 70K.
All they are doing is inflating price to offer huge discounts back to 5K over invoice to make consumers think they are getting a deal. It apparently works, as people seem happy with the default discount, and the manufacturers are still making huge profits on them.

I like to look nationally to see if i fits worth a plane ticket. Doesn't look like it in this case.

look for a 2018 demo and save 12k

they are running 0% for 72 months right now as well.
You're probably not going to get the best price if you use the 0%. I just bought one and the salesman told me I would be better off to get my own financing because I would lose some of the rebates if I used the 0% from GM.

The Tundra is a dated design though

The National program includes "GM Supplier Pricing For Everyone Purchase Program", so no, GM will not pay the dealer twice for it.
However, the dealership can sell it for whatever they want, as low as they want to. Just read carefully where it states "Combine with most offers"...
