I haven't liked anything they put out past 2006. They made the Grand Cherokee a wannabe luxury vehicle, made the Wrangler a suburban Soccer mom vehicle, and I don't think I have to say anything else on the "new" Cherokee.

man yall sure do hate on Jeep. I take Jeep for what it is. What pisses me off about them is their price point. you can buy a loaded fullsize truck for the price of a wrangler.
I have been thinking about finding ma a newer model TJ with low mileage to replace my CJ. I love the CJ but the lack of A/c and something always needing fixing on the CJ is making my tired of owning it.

I hate on them because I had one (grand Cherokee) and it was a POS. This wasn't the first or last ride it had on a tow truck. God bless the poor soul who bought it from me.

Yeah, I would be disappointed if I was waiting on some new update to the Wrangler, and this is what it is.
Also read one of the articles linked. Power sliding hardtop? 8 speed Automatic Transmission? They really are making them like a Minivan. I'll be keeping my TJ. Until I can find an unmolested Scrambler to fix up.

And yes, a Wrangler truck will be in the lineup. Jeep is going to sell the ever living shite out of them too.
ETA: Power sliding options are just that, options. If the 8 speed is the same one they put in other FCA products, it's an upgrade I assure you.

theres an orange 2 door with a truck bed for sale on the lot in denham. saw it the other day.
and no 2 door Sahara version? i am dissapoint.
