So after looking for a couple months I’ve just about decided on a F150 lariat.

Sticker is 59(bottom price)
Sales guy says 50 cash or 51 with 0% 60 mo

Is this a good price? Should I go for it or keep waiting?

I bought a v8 lariat in May.

Sticker was 62

I paid 48500 with a spray in bed liner and 0% for 60

$50,000 for a fricking pickup truck...I just cannot wrap my head around this at all.

If it is a company truck or at least company offset I get it, I guess.

If you're going to spend $50k at least get a Platinum or Limited edition.

It won't be any better but at least you'll feel special.

I like the luxury features in my vehicle. I also need to haul stuff, like I did today. And occasionally I need 4wd.

I can’t bring a sheet of plywood home in a BMW.

The MSRP on my 2016 Duramax LTZ was $63K. I didn’t pay anywhere near that and they gave me a great trade-in but if I didn’t already have a great relationship with them who knows what kind of price I’d pay for that truck.

I will say the Ecoboost feature in my F-150 is pretty nice. It will really get up and go.

I bought the wife a Lincoln MKT last week and it has Ecoboost too. She hauled arse during the test drive and the salesman's knuckles were white by the time we got back to the dealership.

Dude, I just googled 2019 Ford F-150 Lariat (because I couldn't believe the sticker price would be 59K for a 2018 model). Google says that twenty six of the twenty eight 2019 configurations has an MSRP below $50K, even the two that are above $50 are $52,000.

I'd make sure you do a little more research on prices before you jump in with someone telling you that the bottom price is a full 10K higher than the publicly posted MSRP for the newer year model.

Paid $48 for a platinum in 2015. MSRP was 60. Did they really come up that much in price?

I have the Lariat Ultimate and it has more than most platinums.

And I look at the cost as this. I buy vehicles and I drive them for as many years as I can get out of them and I work them hard. My arse sits in it about 4-5 or more hours a day. I’m going to be comfortable and don’t care what the cost is. 8-9 years unless I crash it.

Which I have, twice.

How did you come up with this figure? Is it a guess or experience?
