Dust, Ill extend the question to you:
Are you against the new BLIS system too? It helps monitor when vehicles are in your blind spot and increases safety. But, every car already has 3 mirrors and if you know how to use them, there are no blind spots.

I guess if you don't or havent towed many trailers that would be great, would suck when you get used to it and no other vehicle has it and you ram someones trailer into something.

trailers are easy to back up.
Put your hand at the bottom of the steering wheel turning your hand left, makes the trailer go left turning your hand right makes the trailer go right.
Can't mess up.

Ain't that the damn truth. My brother has a Chevy four by something, xyz, something or other that he treats like it's a luxury vehicle. Can't even load bagged mulch without him freaking out. Meanwhile my Ford Excursion holds 8, can tow anything, hauls fishing crap, and cost a fraction of what he paid. (Used) I run it through the car wash, slap a hanging tree scent thing on the mirror and it's ready for the next adventure.
