The color of the leather is almost identical to the previous gen, maybe a shade lighter. It is more durable and it's perforated.

Still no HIDs on the 250, not trading.

Speaking of which I called up a company to inquire about having them split open my factory lights and install projector beams. I told him I just wanted something simple, projector swap and color matched to the body. No stupid halos or dumbass LEDs. He was up to $1200 before I told him just stop talking, I wasn't interested. Screw that nonsense. Looking at his site there's a few headlights that without a doubt he charges $2500+ for.

It's a PITA to do it right. I paid $1300 for the ones in my 03 Vette, but they look stock and work correctly.

All those dumbasses with their $99 HiD kits should be cited.
Plus, they feel the need to turn them on 24/7.

I had HIDs in my halogen housings until they, surprise, went out. I had them aimed decent though and actually got flashed more with my halogen bulbs than with the HIDs. Most of them do look/function like shite though.

true. as they did with the 7.3 but i guess the gubment wouldn't much care for that engine nowadays.

purdy truck though. my 99 SD is 2000+ miles away in a garage.

I put some of those Sylvania Silverstar Ultra bulbs in the Tahoe and have been thoroughly impressed. They were about $1150 cheaper than a HID kit and not some stupid color either

Does that brown leather come in the F-150 KR's as well?

I'm hoping they put it in the 2015 F150 KR also. Though, these super duty trucks are calling my name already. I can definitely see me trading in the new truck for a 2015 if they do it right

I am probably going to wait just in case they do. It wouldn't make much sense for them not to right?

Is this gonna be Ford's version of a tier 5 engine?

I thought the 2014 6.7 met the top tier requirements, but I could be wrong.

Yeah, I forgot the schedule they had set for it all. Just remember that it was pretty short to come up with 5 different types of engines.

LINK

Looks like they stopped at tier 4. Didn't know if any more BS was gonna be done to restrict power and decrease reliability of these engines again. I have talked to a couple of successful loggers over the past couple of years, and they have just been overhauling their equipment rather than facing the added costs associated with maintaining the new stuff. They do it with their trucks and equipment

Yea but they split tier 4. I know for sure the 2014 met tier 4 interim but maybe not tier 4 final.

Urea actually did the opposite of this. SCR is a good thing to have on a truck.

You can live in your truck, but you can't drive your house.
