Once you get over the green bridge to bayou gentily any place you put in is some of the finest paddle fishing ANYWHERE.... What I like is being able to put in and fish in solitude after a two minute paddle...
Ill be right behind you..

chill out, damn. i'm only asking that question because i don't have a 'yack, only a canoe. i've never saltwater fished out of it either, only the occasional float trip and i thought this may be a chance to learn something.
but I do have an extra kayak for anyone that would be interested

Yall can find me at the Delacroix Lodge. 2 bunk beds, $150/night
Posted on 1/29/14 at 9:32 am to Salmon
Yes 4 beds.
Im not opposed to your original idea of camping, but at $37/night per person, the cabin is hard to beat.

Link to the lodge cabins, just down the street from sweetwater (which is 200/night).
ETA: OB can rent the whole line of cabins.
Large area out front for chevy/ford pulling contests, fatneck and BOURG duel arena, and a covered "sitting area" by the water for the black panther awards ceremony and other shenanigans.

So what's this green bridge choupique? I thought we were all heading out of sweet water?
Posted on 1/29/14 at 9:59 am to VanRIch
If this really happens, it will be awesome. Looking forward to this.

Any Saturday in May works for me as of now. It can fill up quickly though so lets get some more input and get something on the calendar.
