The ATC 250r was peak America.
The Russians saw the 250r and Top Gun in '86 and it was the beginning of the end of the Cold War.

So he doesn’t do restoration work anymore? That sucks. I bought a 350x from him years ago out of his garage and later had him paint a big red tank and triple tree for me. Recently acquired a atc70 when my daughter was born and been saying I would call him to see about a resto since I don’t have the time (or his skill level) to do it myself. Guess that’s not an option anymore…
