Yeah it's just too convenient for me right now to pass up. I'm relatively new to duck hunting so trying to learn a lot before I venture out somewhere else. Plus I don't have a boat.

You can have good hunt in there, requires lots of work and the right conditions but it cam be done.

Ladder stand overlooking CRP fields

Going with the idea that during the rut you wanna be able to see as far as possible. Not that I can shoot that far. Plus I’m saving my box stands and ground blinds with heaters for next weeks cold weather

Just had a small buck walk off to my right. They’re definitely cruising here and I’m guessing Rut will pop off with this weeks cold weather

Hearing that also. Someone shot to the north of me a property over. All I’ve seen is one small deer cruise by. Probably one of my many spikes

Just shot a 8 pt chasing a doe. Saw him to my right but didn’t see doe. Then see him running all around the woods and finally see the doe. Daughter can’t get on him and says “please shoot him daddy”......so he’s dead

Have a doe trying real hard to lose an eager, and determined spike out in the fall grass.

Maybe if she hangs around long enough something better will show up
