*#%%+! 50 something
6.55x55 SE in a box stand
It’s probably going to rain some more.

I woke up pissed because we had to call green jeans on a guy that shot into one of our bean fields adjacent to the one I was hunting in yesterday afternoon. He got 3 tickets.

Come to find out GJ stuck around and caught two more through the night. I guess I should be happy that they’re actually doing something about it but damn my gears are grinded to hell and back right now.

I feel for you bud. We had that problem up here at our place in Tensas 20 years ago. GJ finally shut that shite down and it’s nearly impossible to access our place now unless you take a boat up the MS river. We have the roads heavily gated now.

I had a run in with some native baws on the 200+ I just bought in NW St. Helena on the river. Guy told me he had been hunting there 35 years but they had actually been outlawing the last 35 years on that place. I told them I didn’t give a frick how long they’ve been hunting around here and that if I caught them again I was going to call GJ and Parish sheriff.

Surer than shite my brother caught them out there 3 weeks ago. The motherfrickers had shot a young 6 point. GJ took all there shite and I pressed charges. Come to find out they had been arrested for the same thing a 2 years ago. 1 ole boy is still in jail. Can’t stand outlawing motherfrickers and would’ve loved to get my hands on them.

Most of us baws on here work our asses off and put a lot of time and money in for hunting. Chaps my arse.

Rant over

Just had a tall and narrow 3 yr old 8 come by following a doe.

Luckily half of his main beam is broke off so maybe the neighbors will pass him. He should be great next year

I’m glad y’all were able to lock down your access like that. Sadly, so much of our place is public road frontage. It’s honestly a great setup for road hunters. Without having GJ posted up 24/7, there’s nothing I can really do. I could put up cameras but you bet your arse they’ll take those too.

Same here. Wasn’t bad when I got to stand this morning and could actually see the moon well. I’m watching it get thicker and thicker as we speak
