Although this MS boy don't know shite about hunting around swamps so I could be wrong.

Arkansas near lake village. Deep water timber hole nearly frozen his am 18 degrees with a 12-15 north wind. Brutal. Killed two waited til 1 when sun did a little thawing and finished a gray limit. High of 31. 18 again tomorrow is going to hurt.

Yep. I never would've guess it though. My BIL hunts about 1000 acres and 900 of that is a foot under water most of the time. They kill monsters all the time.

But it sounds like a BITCH to drag them out. How do you blood trail in that much water?

You follow bubbles and there's always grass and branches and shite for them to bleed on. It's not too bad.

Dragging can be terrible depending on where you are. You learn how to field dress deer pretty quickly.
