50 degrees
NNW 3-4 mph
PSE bow in swamp area
Just had 4 bucks come by at about 60 yrs, no shooters
Last bit of daylight for Area 4 this year
Had 2 does in range but stand set up for right hand shooter and I shoot left...Couldn't get in position without getting busted.

Made it for the last evening, Walthall county, box stand looking at 2 food plots in some mature mixed cutover , with some planted sawtooths and a creek, a good rub line with plenty of pics

Much better than spending the afternoon the office

Good luck

Last 90 mins of season. St tammany parish. Bow. Weather decent if wind would settle a bit.

They're starting to move here. Three other hunters have deer in their plots over the last ten minutes.

Any kills? I opted out of the last eve for beer and boiled shrimp. I'm sure I'll have pics of a giant.

I agree, someone needs to propose that it ends on a Sunday at sunset.
Even though I feel like our season was over in me killing the buck I was wanting to kill it would be nice to be able to go through the motions and cook and act like we were still hunting.
I’m gonna start packing gear cleaning up and start getting ready for turkey and kids softball season instead.

Exactly! I would have loved to sit all day tomorrow in the woods instead of doing school work!

Well now it’s time to try to make a dent in our pig population until it gets too hot.

I got the call at 5:05. My old man pulled the trigger for the first time all season, on the last evening of the season, for the third year in a row. He’s getting older and knows he can’t drag one and load/skin one without hurting himself, so just like the past several years I’ve been telling him just to shoot one and call me. I’ll keep going into briar patches straight from work as long as I can. Brought two of his granddaughters to help tonight. Great ending to a deer season.

Damn I wish you were closer, one of my favorite hunts until they jump a deer or a cat.
