Just had a hoss cruise across the field at 250 yards. I actually said “whoa!” Out load when he stepped out. Tall narrow 8pt that 220+ pound. Old deer that jiggled when he walked.

I’m gonna for sure sit all day and can’t promise he’ll get a second pass if he comes in closer

This rain isn't stopping anytime soon. I’m back at the camp to eat and get my 4 wheeler.

I’m at 3 and in the same boat on another.

Concerning hunting - I just have to bring one or two with me. I will build a box stand for next year to ensure I can always take one.

The river has started to flood our property

Selden Lock and Dam is probably 7 miles north of our property

Have t gone more than 30-45 min between deer sightings but been a lot of the same 2 spikes. Wish ole big boy would make the same laps they are searching for does

I got a stand in some hardwoods near the thicket all the deer are going in and out of. Considered making a move for the evening sit

I’d go there to hunt.

Is rut in full force where you are?

Mixed bag hunt in Oklahoma. 1 spoonie, 3 bushy tails and a giant gnarly mainframe 7pt skull. Huge bases and lots of mass on the rack.

Nice man.

You should give a breakdown when you have a chance.

I take it this we’re different hunts?

I found the deer skull while chasing the squirrels which I saw while walking back from the duck hunt.

Only have 150gr loaded. I want the deer dead in their tracks. I don’t want to chase them into the swamp.
