I used Vines a lot in the past but no one in my house would touch it. Started going to Leblanc’s in Morganza and haven’t looked back

Get my deer meat processed at Richey’s in Greensboro off Hwy 25

Neighbors have put the smack down on animals this weekend. Hope they are filling doe quota cause if they shooting bucks we fixing to run out

Two weeks ago and again today, the sausage on the buffet tasted like it was soaked in propane.
Thought it was an accident the first time. Nope.
Can’t believe they don’t realize this.

The store reeked of propane both times also.

I eat a lot of smoked venison sausage, and there’s NO WAY in hell I’d get a deer processed there.

Public. All my hunts have been in BBM. I’ve seen fresh rubs and sign but not one deer. We see hogs every other hunt or so. I’ve really enjoyed hunting BBM as it’s our first year. Next year I would like to scout and maybe hunt the western part.

I'm selling all my shite.

So, after the rain started I was extremely optimistic. Sat in it for an hour. Then, shite got real sideways real fast. I don't know if y'all have ever been hit on your big, cold arse ear with hail, but it sucks. I decided hell with this, lowered my bow down.

Want to guess what happened then? If you guessed big buck, you guessed right. And he bedded down at 78 yards. Figured if I can climb down without being spotted then I have a shot at him. Caught a ladder step to the dome and split my head open. But, got to the bottom of the tree and he was still bedded. There's thick leaves on the ground, but I had the wind and rain to cover my sound. Slowly as shite got to 42 yards.

At this point, I'm crouched behind a fallen tree with blood running down my face. I shoot at 40 and farther all the time. Confident I can make the shot. Draw back, slowly stand up... And a doe that I didn't know existed busted me. When she blew, ol boy bolted so fast he left a cloud.

Dont do it. I gave up on the ducks this yr for the most part and decided to concentrate on the deer. Haven't killed a deer and they have been limiting all season where I do most if my local duck hunting.
