In a thread like this in the past - someone linked to a forum based in Oregon (somewhere out there, maybe Washington). Anyway - it was like 60 pages long at 20-30 posts per page. I never made it past 8 pages or so.

There was some freaky damn stories in that thread.

Someone might have a link to it

Found clothes and boots a murderer had left a few hours before I got there.

Lots of old mine ruins in the woods in some areas around here. You'll come up on old dishes or cups, things like that over a hundred years old in some areas.

Petroglyphs are another. Really cool thing to find

Stumbling up on a bear in the wild will make your hair stand up on the back of your neck. Very creepy.

Walked around bend in trail one time and Dora the Explorer balloon was standing in the middle of the trail. Scared the crap out of me!

Nah, just creepy as frick. There was an old Confederate flag drapped over the fence, and you could tell people go hang out up there.

Also, not crazy about hanging out on a ridge with unmarked graves. Those headstones aren't the actual graves. The exact locations of the true graves are unknown, except that they are on that ridge somewhere.

And this was over around Woodworth, so it's not on that usgw list.

I was walking through an oak flat squirrel hunting. I had been walking always looking up at the trees for squirrel movement. When I finally looked down at my surroundings I realized I was in the middle of an abandoned cemetery! Headstones and old flower pots everywhere. The hair on the back of my neck grew an inch! Needless to say I GTFOed fast. Lol.

I think DieselTiger or one of the original OBers found a purple dildo in the woods.

was creepy per say.. but definitely shook me up. Was in kentucky on a hunt 3 yrs ago. Was walking out after a morning hunt and walked off atv trail to scout a little.. walked up on a freaking square opening in the ground. Was an old well. Level with ground, covered n leaves. just a deep arse hole in the middle of nowhere. I suddenly thought holy shite man, what if i had walking tbrough at dark, or not looking down and stepped off in there. Here i am in nowhere ky on 1000acres of remote land. No one would ever find me

I walk in and out in the dark at kisatchie National Forest near Forest Hill.

I used to camp and shoot a lot at the old gravel pits near Turkey Creek, on the Turkey Creek-Glenmora Road.

We used to always hear stories about devil worshippers out there, but we never saw any.

Did stumble upon quite a few pairs of left-behind panties, though. A lot of the local kids apparently used to go parking out there. A buddy and I stumbled upon a couple in flagrante delicto one time.

Or in autos, had several end up in my truck way back in the day.

I think they do it on purpose. Not that I complained....

In Hammond, near the high school, there was an abandoned subdivision we called The Maze. It was rumored to be a devil worshipers hangout. We found a pulpit of sorts and animal(probably hog) bones arranged in a pentagram. Also, found a squirrels head nailed to a tree near skulls creek in the same area.
