Most of our fields are completeley covered in stubble with a very small opening (maybe 50 yds wide by 50 yds deep) which still contains a little stubble.
I can tell you this. From about 1000 feet in the air those fields that are covered in stubble with one square on either side of the blind looks real fishy. I can see why a duck wouldn't really want to go down in it.

So true. I have that issue in Morganza. It looks like lollipops from the air. Crop circle with a four wheeler path to the blind. If you fly it, you can tell which one I've been hunting, looks like a wagon wheel now with a drunk making the spokes.

Yeah, I didn't make it quite to Angelina the other day to really see what it looks like, but I would say that is the problem. Those 4-wheeler trails to the blind also stand out like you wouldn't believe.
One last thing, people need to really start putting a little more effort into blind brushing, y'all shite stands out like sore thumbs. Oh and you can see a fricking mojo for at least 2 miles.

It doesn' make a frick how much your shite sticks out when there are next to no birds in the area.
I wasn't referring to you, just most blinds in general.

We only got two inches in Avoyelles, and I know we will need at least another 7 to get back to somewhat normal.

Let's get back to hunting thread
Too late. Its going to be a while before all the gun discussion dies down. The base is too lathered up.
ETA - Did the same thing. Hit enter too fast.

Me too. Too many trolls have migrated over from the political board to post hit and run threads. Or they want to engage us because we hunt.
Either way, this is what the OB has become Germans bomb Pearl Harbor

With school done for christmas little angus is running a little trap line . 1 yote and 2 cats and 2 opossum last night. I know its not hunting but it does break the gun control monotony. His biggest from this morning

That's bad arse. I'm going to start a thread on it. Just to change the monotony.
