Makes sense. Probably trying to run the longer distances once the sun goes down because of the heat there right now.

I would think going off first thing in the morning would be the logical choice. It is the coolest time of the day and when 99.9% of distance runners train, esp in the Summer.

I've always been fascinated with the olympic sprints since I was a a kid. Watching the fastest people on the planet is so cool.

yes it is.

I've always wanted to race a world class sprinter.
I had decent speed in High School, but that was compared to other regular dipshits.

I want to "see" what stupid speed looks like in person.

yes, I know a sub 10 second 100m is ridiculous.
but to truly appreciate it, I want to go against someone doing it.

OAC looked horrible this morning. Olli Hoare and Mario Romo looked flat out awful and Nuguse looked very sluggish and barely snuck through. Wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't make the final.

Either they are sick or Ritz completely overtrained his whole team leading in. Absolute disaster.

I know we have the technology to superimpose a regular Joe’s run over the sprinters

We have to do this

Vernon Norwood of New Orleans/Morgan City is now a world record holder in the mixed 4x400. Couldn’t happen to a better/more deserving person

Razorback Kaylyn Brown ran the anchor as well. Deadmon is an Aggie. 3 of 4 are SEC West kids

Edit. Little is an Aggie as well. 4 SECW kids

having raced 10ks on the track both at the crack of dawn and late at night give me late at night 10 times out of 10. Would rather it get cooler as the race progresses as opposed to the opposite. Also gives time to fuel properly throughout the day and not have to worry about waking up stupid early to fuel/get the body going/etc.

The distance runs would be even worse. I would get lapped in anything over 800 and the 800 would be close - like a full on sprint to their finish line, my last lap bell.

Did I hear Trey Hardee is still an Olympian? Or is he an announcer ?

Nvm, I see. I just tuned in to the decathlon and heard his name mentioned, I thought no way is he still competing.

Fischer looks fantastic.

You rarely see a championship race pushed at the front like this.
