You didn't watch the playoffs the last couple years, did you?
spoiler alert. he's been absolute dogshit. had a GAA of, like, 5 against St Louis and Dallas last year. His save percentage went from the best in the NHL in the regular season, to 42nd in the playoffs. There are 32 teams in the NHL. Same thing the year before. I love the guy, he has 3 Vezinas, but he is an absolute choking dog come playoff time.

The one other factor that I didn't even think of is Title IX. Wisconsin cut their baseball program in the early 90s rather than add more women's sports. Some GO5 schools and do far as to cut men's track. Hockey would force either an additional woman's program or cutting an existing one. Nobody is going to cut a Since Olympic sport with LA28 coming up. Are there enough females to add hockey for both genders?

Can speak to the playoff series against COL two years ago, as I was there for both games in Denver.

Spent much of the day at a Mite hockey tournament. Asked one of the parents what time they play tomorrow. Answer was "we ALL have a 7AM game time".

I believe it’s done by birth year now. Things have changed since I played, but it would be about 8-6 and then before that atoms.

I didn’t realize we had that many teammates going H2H today. Makes sense because those are all top teams.
Then those guys will go back to being friends next week. But you know they want those bragging rights bad.
