IDK enough about the science as to whether this is true or not. What I do know is that the Olympics didn't test anything. They said her passport says female and she's not trans so she can compete. I don't know how I feel. On the one hand, its tough for this girl because she didn't choose any of this. She was born and raised female and has female parts (presumably). On the other hand, she could hurt someone.
pretty easy for me. if they have both they should not compete against women only. sucks for them, but sucks more for the rest.

It seem obvious that boxing should be even more concerned with this, considering the violent nature of the sport.
Sadly, some poor woman will lose their life before any of the people pushing this acknowledge it.

All they have to do is set tighter test limits
T&F already figured this out

Should they also ban all the women that have already beat this woman? If she has an unfair advantage and they are better than her then they also have one?
She's 9-5 vs women it isn't like she is running through the division

Just because this person lacks skill doesn't mean the issue should not be addressed.

Obviously she needs her own division, but I'm not lumping this in with a dude beating on chicks.
If it was an actual dude they aren't losing to any girls in their weight class, much less 5.
There's no chance every dude in this weight class wouldn't wipe the floor with the chick wit a sexual disorder

The IOC statement says they want to allow men to compete in women's sports.
Sorry ladies, no more Olympics for you.

Not a difficult problem. You provided all the evidence needed for a very obvious solution

the IOC doesn't regulate the majority of sports, so it really doesn't matter, and the majority of governing bodies in the major sports have set test limits for these cases
the only reason the IOC regulates boxing is because the IBA is corrupts as frick

I guess you've never heard of Swyer Syndrome.
A rare genetic condition in which people who have an X chromosome and a Y chromosome (the usual pattern for males) look female. They have normal female reproductive organs, including a uterus, fallopian tubes, and vagina. However, the ovaries do not develop and are replaced by clumps of tissue where they would normally form. Swyer syndrome is usually not diagnosed until puberty, when menstrual periods do not begin as they should. Having Swyer syndrome increases the risk of certain types of germ cell tumors.
XY complete gonadal dysgenesis, also known as Swyer syndrome, is a type of defect hypogonadism in a person whose karyotype is 46,XY. Though they typically have normal vulvas,[1] the person has underdeveloped gonads, fibrous tissue termed "streak gonads", and if left untreated, will not experience puberty. The cause is a lack or inactivation of an SRY gene which is responsible for sexual differentiation. Pregnancy is often possible in Swyer syndrome with assisted reproductive technology. The phenotype is usually similar to Turner syndrome (45,X0) due to a lack of X inactivation. The typical medical treatment is hormone replacement therapy.[2] The syndrome was named after Gerald Swyer, an endocrinologist based in London.
regardless, we have no proof of XY chromosome in this boxers case. We have evidence of a born female with elevated testosterone, which is what should make her ineligible (if she has elevated T)

I mean the 2nd post in this thread is wrong. This chick should probably not be allowed to compete with women but she isn't a "Biological Male' in any sense of the word.
Her competitive record vs women is 9-5. She would be 0-14 vs men in her divison.
She is a chick that may have elevated testosterone ( I thought the Olympics test for this)

Imagine training your whole life, you get to the Olympics and they tell you that you have to fight a dude.
Glad she quit, could've gotten seriously hurt. Will it take a female to die in the ring to end this madness?
