of course we are all hoping for the best, but to say "worst case" is that the coast will be fine a few years is just retarded.

There is a company that manufactures subsea drilling equipment there. Something about getting the Air Force to help bring it here when they've made it, I don't know how far off that is. I know the source is VERY good, and for obvious reasons, I can't say who it is, but I don't know how viable the option is. I was hoping someone here would.

Why didn't bp work on fixing the leak after rescue efforts were halted? That was last Friday. We always wait and react instead of being proactive. I just don't get it. I feel bad for all of the gulf coast.
