Dude, another 7 days of oil spewing out of the well and the winds change from the East, all of Southwest La is going to get it.

This will affect ALL of the Gulf Coast States in phases. This is just the first phase.

i'm no tide/weather expert, but i think it would take a few acts of god for this shite to go 150-ish miles west when it's been steadily heading east. hell all the map projections are very heavily eastbound

thats because of the direction the wind is blowing. if it is true about it taking at least 60-90 days to cap it, the entire gulf coast is going to be black. winds will eventually shift

All it takes is for the wind to change direction. The natural flow of the GOM flow from East to West. Trust me, no one is out of the woods along the coast.

If mother nature is as great as I think she is -- this pretty much guarantees a hurricane in the gulf this summer

Related to the actual accident, someone today told me that the 11 on the floor knew something was wrong and that they were trying to fix it rather than running and that actually saved the lives of the other 115.

Not sure how she got that info or came to that conclusion ...

Thoughts?

i have no idea what is true or not, but typically this is the hero tale that always follows disasters
