Anyone find it amusing that this whole thing is a pain in the arse because they won't let us drill in the plenty of shallow water areas that do have oil, so we have to go deepwater.

because they are pumping mud into the BOP to try and kill the well. It will take time but ideally the pressure will slowly drop till the weight of the mud will cancel out the formation pressure.

Right now it looks like part of an arm of an ROV with what looks like mud coming out of the top of the BOP where the riser is broken.

I got that and I got that mud may come out of the top of the BOP at the bent riser thingy as the injection point is about half way down the BOP, but I don't get the multiple holes it is flowing out of now.
