Worth noting that this 10 AM track from NHC is on the eastern edge of most of the available guidance. New Orleans area needs to be ready for a potential significant hit from the winds.

One of the meds I am on. Watch your BP. After about a month, I have to get off it cause my BP drops way to low.
I think that may be what happened to me yesterday. And believe it or not, as I type this I'm feeling it again a little bit. I may need to go eat something.

Are we talking “Gustav” in general or “Gustav” in Baton Rouge?

Will be interesting to see if the NHC is correct on this as they have been this entire season.

Do so, that helps. Sugar helps.

Anyone have a wind map projection right now? I know if I head to BR it would probably be okay right now but if I could just sit in Hammond that would be pretty good. What's the sustained winds/gusts in Hammond projected right now?

Current track would result in minimal impacts for most of metro Baton Rouge.

I hate being on heart medicine because of all the fricking side effects. Like someone else said, that's what going to end up killing me, not my heart problem!

Storm Geo reports I’m getting with work don’t match National Hurricane center. NHC barely has a landfall in LA as it goes over Port Sulphur on its way to Biloxi.
Storm Geo has it much further West coming in around Larose and going over New Orleans

Right. It seems like so many want the BR area to get hammered and I kinda get the desire for the excitement but man, the subtle wishcasting is so evident here and on Stormcast.

Who going to share the secret sauce offshore rigging projected forecasts? Someone always shares those in here with all that money they dump into private research. Post it!

Whenever I feel my BP dropping too much, the doctor tells me to eat something salty, like potato chips or pretzels, for example. It helps me.

You sure you're not confusing Stormcast with Storm2k? I hear that Storm2k is full of Houston folks wishcasting all the time but I only visit the OT and Stormcast.
