What kind of intensity levels are we expecting? Looks like the Yucatan is tearing zeta up pretty good. AS fast as its moving wont have a ton of time to rebuild.

Hey. Sucks that I will not be getting much rain from this storm. Still super dry here.

LP is closing schools for half a day.
The schools in Livingston obviously want to avoid having their busses filled with kids having to drive through 10 mph winds if they waited to close at regular time Wednesday.

They have me taking Entresto, a heart failure medicine. Supposedly it's going to increase my ejection fraction and I sure as hell hope & pray that it does.

It’s our fault. Parents these days are ready to sue on the off chance something bad happens. I could see the push to go to school in the past, but with remote learning it’s easier to just call it these days

It’s totally unnecessary to change any of the school day for EBR, AP, or LP tomorrow and Thursday.

You're probably right. Probably. That's the problem with every system, though. Chances are the BR area will be just fine as long as it stays on the current track but any slight change to the west could put the western edge of the core over our area and the difference would be night and day. That's why they're probably going to call off school out of an abundance of caution.

According to the current forecast, I agree, hence saying the off chance something happens. It’s just the way it is though, nowadays.

I’m sure St. Tammany, ORLEANS and Jefferson will cancel school.

One of the meds I am on. Watch your BP. After about a month, I have to get off it cause my BP drops way to low. Then I start feeling like shite for a week till I get back on it.

Oh, my BP runs low to start with.

If you're not careful, the medications will get you before anything else does. Drug commercials crack me up when they list side effects that seem way worse than what the drug is treating.

"Well, if it means I'm going to end up with a paralyzed sphincter muscle, I think I will just keep dealing with my itchy feet!"
