9 year old me and my buddies played football in the yard while the eye passed over.

Usually, the northern is bad because it steadily builds wind speed. The southern is bad because it immediately goes to full speed. There is no build up to it. It just goes full speed the opposite direction.

Round 2 in River Ridge was downright scary. Felt like a tornado basically. There wasn’t much on the radar either at the time

This. According to windspeeds, it was not as bad. You get used to the gradual buildup in the front side so it doesn't seem as bad

Has anyone had eyes on the Galliano Walmart parking lot? Many boats and RV's relocated to their parking lot from Grand Isle. My brother is here in BR worried about his RV.
