Zappos is amazing, next day shoes.

Seems impossible. Buy shoes one morning, get them the next day. If you need to return they'll get the next shoes in the mail before they even receive your returns.
Unreal how efficient that business runs. It has to be the best online vendor.

I can go to Walmart and buy shoes one second and have them on my hand the next.

They are legit. I had to do a case study on how they run. They pay pretty well and only hire service oriented people. Their whole business model is based on having the best customer service. They sacrifice high margins for that.

I wear shoes on my feet, but Walmart shoes probably last longer on your hands.

Show us what sort of wacky shite you buying, bro. Come on!

Not surprised that it's no coincidence. Amazing that 'service' can be implemented with policy...since you never really interact with human in a normal purchase.

I don't buy wacky shite.
Wolverine Luke shoes. I plan on wearing them casually and not as dress shoes. They'll be nice once broken in properly.

That's what happens when you have a customer service driven culture that has the shipping capabilities of Amazon.

I just saw while trying to link a photo, that the URL is Amazon. I'm not a big fan of Amazon either, I seem to get used / slightly damaged items all of the time.

Amazon bought Zappos in 2009. Zappos operates as it always has, but gained all the logistical expertise that Amazon brings to the table.

I'm interested in seeing your latest shoe purchase.
ETA: I see you've already provided photos.

They sold stone color previously, but not anymore. Yea, I went back and forth...I liked the brown 1000 Mile boots better, but black in the 1000 Mile Luke's.
I usually wear dark blue jeans, and I think the brown would stand out more...don't want that.

Do they sell footwear for men, aka boots?

Wolverine is a good shoe. Have a couple of pair. 1883 suede chukkas are still perfect after several years.

Yes, I was going to buy the boots...but I ended up liking the shoes better.
And I already have these steel toes for work.

They were cheaper than Wolverine's site, and I know I can return them easily if I picked the wrong size.

Well of course it seems amazing. Zappos operates like Amazon; at a loss (in retail). Everyone loves it the service but they don’t make money doing it it. It is not sustainable. Enjoy why it lasts.
If it does sustain (ie put others out of business) then prepare for price hikes to recoup the initial investment.
Moral- if it is too good to be true, it probably is.
