It was always the plan to raise the prices once they gained a foothold. If not for live sports, the entire cable/streaming industry would be on its deathbed.

When is the all-sports network with every game at $14.99/month?

“Live TV providers” know that sports fans basically subsidize the rest of live TV, which is mostly garbage. So I’d be shocked if that ever happens.

I’d do YouTubeTv but Hulu package with Disney/espn is tough to beat. Wish they would throw in commercial free YouTube and I might do it.

I’m canceling. It’s not the $10/month, it’s the principal. I’m not paying that. I barely watch the shite outside football season anyway.

HULU went up last month, so you knew this was coming.

Really depends on what you actually pay for. I only pay for YTTV, I have AppleTV through my wife's cellphone plan, Disney/Hulu/ESPN+ though my cell phone, Prime through our prime membership. In order to get a cable package that includes all of the channels we watch, we are looking at $125/month for Cox plus all of the add ons costs (box rentals if that's still a thing, DVR upcharge, HD upcharge if they still do that...)

Is the Freinds & Family thing a part of this or is that more? I had a friend add us as one his family for free.

If it's part of this price increased package, find a baw or two to split it with and it knocks the price down to a case of beer.

Worth it to continue to be able to tell Cox to kick rocks. Wild horses couldn't drag me back to using them.

I read on cord cutters.com that if you try and cancel they will offer you the old price for 6 months and it worked

Stay and save $60
Don't miss your favorite sports and shows coming soon!

Get Base Plan for $72.99/mo for your next six months and then $82.99/mo.

I'm ready for a la carte TV. I will keep my YouTube TV because it's still the best bang for your buck but I literally don't watch 80% of the channels. I wish we could pick and choose our channel lineup and pay accordingly. Why do I have to pay for 100+ channels when I really only watch 10-15 ?

Read there was supposed to be a new streaming all sports option? Apparently it is not active yet?

Spectrum was costing me $175 a month before I cancelled. I have a ways to go before I’m thinking about switching

If I could get just live sports year round for $40 to $50 a month I would do it.
We were supposed to get this in August with Venu Sports but Fubo tied it down in lawsuits.

I haven’t heard that but if you have details please share!

I’d gladly pay two or three times that for a sports only streaming package….I've essentially been paying $72.99 to stream sports as it is.

You can split YouTubeTV with people in other households though. Just depends what you are looking for
