Never met a Shane that wasn’t a douche.

Damn, I knew pilots could make good money but never knew they made that much, my wife made about $350k last year and is middle of the road in her group.

not all of them do, docs aren't all gazillionaires the way everyone thinks, unless they've invented and patented something like an innovative artificial heart valve or something like that, I don't see the return on investment for all of the student debt for what a typical doc makes

$350k last year
most of our mid-level seniority co-pilots are north of that these days

I don't think his income is just from being a pilot because I have a friend that is a Captain for a major airline and he isn't raking in that kind of coin. Granted, he has only been a Captain for a little over a year now but even then he won't max out at heart surgeon money as he gets more years in.

what airline? narrow body Captains and wide body co-pilots where I work are easily well over three bills, senior heavy Captains are approaching seven figures

I don't think many people believe this, but I sleep with one and do her taxes so I have a better idea than most. The senior surgeons in her group max out at about $450k from medical billing.
I just never knew pilots made that much.
We were both lucky since we both finished school with no debt. Our educations today combined would be nearly $900k.
That said compared to the top youtube earners we are all at chicken feed level, the top ten youtube content creators combined made $160 MILLION last year. The top earner (over 20 million) is a 7-year-old toy reviewer (and his parents).

holy shite!!
ETA: and to repeat myself, not all pilots make that kind of dough, right now the big three, plus FedEx and UPS are paying like that, SW pilots make pretty decent bread too

These youtubers are making bank when they get a good number of subscribers.
Look at the Demo Ranch guy, he's buying and renovating mansions, building new buildings for storing his tshirts he sells via his youtube channel.
He has 3 channels with 2M plus subscribers, and is buying all kind of trucks, hummers, off road vehicles, etc.
He must be making multi millions a year from youtube.

Average pay rate is around 18 cents per click. So just go to your favorite youtuber and do the math.
I follow several bushcraft dudes, and two of them are making enough money that they quit their jobs and do it full time. Several videos from both are over 15 million views. They average about 300-500k views per video, so $54-90k per.

The Demolition ranch channel gets about 1m views a day so that alone is worth ~$1 million a year assuming it is fully monetized, though I know they were one that had issues with that.
That is one of the issues with people that make money on the internet and do not own their platform, whether it be content creation or sales, they are at the mercy of the whims of their platform.

If their channel is getting a million views a day, and they keep that consistently, that's actually around $65 million a year.

Apparently the #1 thing kids want to be when they grow up is a youtube star
You have a better chance of winning the lottery than making it as a youtube star

Most ads have a click through rate of 0.2%
100k views * 0.2% = $200

NOT. EVEN. CLOSE.
The average pay for 1,000 views is 1.50 to 3.00 if you have an audience that usually watches the entire vid you can max out about $7 per 1,000 if all other metrics are favorable. So max out for 1m per day is about $7k per day or 2.5 million per year. There is a select group of YouTubers that can make more than that (up to around 12k a day per 1m views) but they are extremely rare.
To put your number in perspective Jake Paul gets well over 3m a day and only makes about 20% of the 65m you stated.
