Why empty the storage? Thanks for the timeline. I'm curious as to when they stayed in hotels or camped. After 5 months she still hasn't got used to dirty feet? 22 and they don't drink? There's more behind the scenes and that's why I'm leaning toward he left her. Stranded and hiking for miles with no water as another way to go. If that happened he would surely say he lost her. Working under the assumption that they weren't dumb as bricks. I get the vibe ppl think they were stupid or at least naive.

8/24 - Checked out of hotel in Salt Lake City
8/25 - Final Call to family telling them they were in Grand Teton National Park in Wyoming.
8/26 - 8/27 - 8/28 - 8/29 FOURS DAYS of ???
8/30 - parents got fake text saying no cell service
9/1 - Laundrie returned to the COUPLE's home in Northport where his parents also live. (they left new york from her parent's house and not their house in Florida. OK, maybe to get money or visit them first?
9/11 - reported missing, cops went to the house and were given lawyer's info
9/16 - conference family begs for info from Laundrie
When did the media or police start to connect the double homicide? Miles and miles, feel stupid now i see the distances in timeline.

Exactly. That's why it's fishy the way he's being so honest. Why not lie outright and say "I provoked her, I hit her, take me to jail". Deep down he's relieved to be on the other side of it.

Here's something kind of weird. An article that I was reading linked the boyfriend's youtube channel. There's only one video on there and, unless I'm misreading the timeline, he posted the video within 24 hrs of the lesbian couple's murder.
Someone in the comments noticed that he was reading "Annihilation"...a novel about people exploring uncharted terrain in the U.S. that go missing(I didn't see the movie and haven't read the book).
I also saw a news report about the hotel that she was staying in. The hotel employee that they talked to wouldn't say how long she was there, but it was more than one day. I believe that she checked in on the 13th and the murders of the lesbian couple happened on the 18th.
He was supposed to be in Florida when? From the 19th to the 26th?

Also apparently this dude is obsessed with serial killers. That book isn’t the only one that’s weird. He’s also attached to the book “lullaby” which is about the death of infants and women.
The book “Annihilation” follows 4 women who go missing.
This dude is playing y’all. He is stirring this girl up to make her look crazy. His defense is going to be she just ran off or he couldn’t find her.
I think he killed the two lesbians and she figured it out. His van life persona might be the beginning of a serial killer.

I think this is when she was in SLC at the hotel. There was a story that her dad sent her food via Uber Eats during that time because the hotel lost power and she didn't have internet to order food.

After a very quick google, it looks to me that both Annihilation and Lullaby are more like horror sci-fi than some kind of serial killer fantasy books. They both deal with death, but what else has he read? He could just be into the genre

catch me up to this story, please. why did he drive home w/o the girl--not give a hint to anyone where the girl is, he got a lawyer, and then 10 days later the girls mom files a report.
the girl said her OCD highly irritated him. so if they got in a fight and split up why not just say that? it seems as if he knows something bad happened to her, no?
