Read through the thread and all the links. 95% the boyfriend killed her. 5% something else happened.
No way he travels home refusing to speak to anyone including her parents if there wasn’t foul play involved. Otherwise he would have had an answer to what happened.

Burlap is more environmentally friendly than a plastic bag so there's that.

After the murder he drove around with the cell phones to throw off the location. Ending with the fake text to her mom. Right now they are going to each location perimeter. Searching outward from these maybe? They'll find her tomorrow before Lester goes on air.

What's the motive other than she hits him?

For her family’s sake, I hope this is true. But that would be pretty shitty of her.

If the man was black, Gabby would be alive because the Moab Cops would’ve shot him before he got out the car

I was pretty stoked about having 8-10 pages of info to catch up on in this thread. It's unreal how many posts in those 8 or 10 pages were of you dumbing up everything with bullshite, uninformed theories.

But the post I'm replying to is too stupid to ignore.

This isn't necessarily related to GP but I find it interesting that the 2 newlyweds who were killed each had multiple gunshots. They weren't backcountry camping because the family member who found them said she didn't get out of her car. No one in the campground heard gunshots and thought to call it in or people just thought it was someone hunting?

They were lesbians. Not to be confused with newlyweds.

It’s possible she would do it to make him look bad.

No good lawyer is going to recommend he say absolutely nothing if he has a story or evidence to back up his innocence.

There are literally multiple lectures by law school professors available online saying exactly that: tell the cops nothing. Suppress the urge to share what you know because you know you are innocent.

You are only concerned with having an alibi if you get charged.

A lawyer would rather you not even get to that point.

Prove it.

I hope that's the case but it's not looking good. I get that you should be careful about what you say but I don't understand why the boyfriend hasn't said anything about why they were apart when she disappeared or why it wasn't called in before he got home. (or am I misunderstanding the story?)

edit: I am saying I get that the best defense is probably to say nothing but that's not the best way to find her. The best way to find her is to tell what you know.

I finally finished the police video. Here are a few thoughts

Sounds like they were being followed already by the cops, and then were speeding/she was hitting on him and they were pulled over. At some point the officers mention the witnesses seeing them in the altercation... so they already knew a little about the situation. I guess this was “the” only police encounter.

BL saying he doesn’t have a phone and then having one. Not only that, but he didn’t actually know his number either. He had to show the officer something on his screen when asked what his number was. Burner?
If he had IG and was posting pics... he was a smart phone user. If he had a phone number he didn’t recognize, did he switch out his phones pre-trip to not be tracked? That’s a really weird reach I’ll admit but it just popped up of why he would be active on social media; yet claim to be phoneless and not know his own #

The cops bro-ed it up hardcore with BL. And at the end when they are loading him up in the car to bring him to the hotel, BL was happy to not have to be with GP for the night. He was all smiles with the cops while she was having a breakdown most of the time.

The cops were trying so hard to let these two go without a fuss. At 50 minute mark the cop trying to talk them out of the citation for GP. They didn’t end up giving her one and I wonder if they actually stayed separate that night. Yikes

When they gave GP the keys to the van, she was anxiously asking how far she would have to drive to get to him in the morning, because she wasn’t used to driving the van (her words). They had to tell her it was only about 5 miles and she was still nervous. This plays into BL “needing” to fly back to wherever she was after his trip to FL to potentially drive her home, or just take the van. It was GP’s van, but she didn’t even feel comfortable driving it?

When BL is asked for his license he says “you probably won’t recognize this guy... I had a lot of hair”. I know it’s probably stupid, but I wonder when / why BL shaved his head. It was like a nervous energy comment. Funny because at the beginning of the video it stood out to me that he asked the officers if he could go sit in the shade “because I’m bald” lol

What I am saying is he did give an insight into his character

Or an insight to the fact that he knew he was being recorded and his persona on social media would be tainted if he were seen drinking out of plastic if the recording was released in the future. That or he wanted to ‘appear’ noble. That just sheds like on a different characteristic.

GP had 2 water bottles and a Gatorade by the time she left lol. What’s that say about her
